Haunting Ground and Rule of Rose have warm spots in my heart. Haunting Ground overall had a finer system with Hewie and who doesn't love Fiona? But, I have to say Rule of Rose's story resonated stronger with me.

I'm hoping one day they choose to bring this back to the public eye with a remake or something since I know that the combat can be offputting for people. It is genuinely such a good story though and really gets you thinking.

If they do know, hopefully the wouldn't water it down though. I think the grim nature of the entire game and well, to be blunt, how fucked up it is is what helps make it stand out as great storytelling.
